The Saturday Seven 9/29/12

1. Mood: Overwhelmed and slightly crazed...too many things are flying around in my brain right now and as easy as it is for people to tell me to give my brain a rest, it never works.
2. One good thing from the week: It seemed to go by fairly quick for a work week. I am glad that it's over and the weekend is here! :)
3. Product(s) I'm adding to my wish list: I was able to get my hands on the OCC Lip Tars in store but I am patiently waiting for Ophelia to be restocked on Sephora's website. I also would like to get some fall clothes to transition into the cooler/colder months. I'm feeling like my "wardrobe" is in need of some major sprucing up!
5. Scent of the week: I switched it up this week between B&BW Charmed Life and D&G The One.
6. Favorite song of the moment: Settle Down by No Doubt   Back in the day, I saw them in concert which was absolutely amazing! I cut up a wife beater, pasted on a bindi, put on some red lipstick and sparkly pants...that was quite a while ago. I have definitely grown up a bit (a little bit...hehe) as must people do but great memories grow with you. I have loved their music for many, many years and I am so exciting they are back! 

7. A sprinkle of randomness: It's gloomy outside and my pups are still sleeping. During the week, I feel like if I had the chance, I could sleep until 9 am but then the weekend rolls around and I'm wide awake by 7 am. Oh well!

The Saturday Seven 9/22/12

1. Mood: Lazy.
2. One good thing from the week: I went out with my hubby and our good friends last night for 2fers. Love me some food, good beer and great friends! Hi Frank!
3. Product(s) I'm adding to my wish list: Lip Tars from OCC. I heard about the Sephora launch at the beginning of the week and was looking at the colors online but can't quite decide which ones to get. They are offered in a few Sephora stores as well, one happens to be within driving distance of where I live. So I'm thinking of making the trip there to see the colors in person.
5. Scent of the week: Charmed Life from B&BW
6. Favorite song of the moment: My Moment-DJ Drama ft. 2 Chainz, Mill Meek, Jeremih I love this song! Even if you're not a fan of rap/hip hop, I think everyone can relate to the message. I hear this a lot when I am driving home from work and most of the time, I've had days that can test my last nerve. So I try to remind myself that my moment will come eventually...whatever/whenever that may be.

7. A sprinkle of randomness: I am making a grocery/Target shopping list. I always feel like I forget things though. Then when I go to Target, I always end up buying more than is on my list. Target gets me every single time!

The Saturday Seven 9/15/12

1. Mood: Blah...it was a crappy week but I am glad it's finally over. I have SO much to get done but I am just feeling like not doing anything. Ugh.
2. One good thing from the week: It's finally over!!! That seems to be my common answer here. LOL
3. Product(s) I'm adding to my wish list: The Urban Decay Vice palette. I read Karen's (makeupandbeautyblog.com) blog post about this palette late last night and made a plan to save for it. My plan was to be able to purchase it as soon as it was released. Urban Decay's limited edition products tend to sell out insanely quick! I woke up this morning to an email from Urban Decay for the release of the Vice palette! Ahhhh!!! There goes my plan! I guess I will keep my fingers crossed that it won't sell out for another few weeks.
5. Scent of the week: Lola by Marc Jacobs
6. Favorite song of the moment: Celebration by The Game...This song samples a classic Bone Thugs song, 1st of the Month, and gives it a more updated sound. 
7. A sprinkle of randomness: I'm drinking my morning coffee as I write this post. I love coffee! If I could always drink coffee, every minute of every day, I definitely would. My favorite Starbucks drink (what I call a foofy coffee drink) would have to be the caramel macchiato. So good!!!

The Saturday Seven 9/8/12

1. Mood: Determined. I have a lot to do today including cleaning my house, laundry, exercising and hopefully filming a YT video. I have determined to get everything done despite going out last night and not feeling 100%.
2. One good thing from the week: It was only 4 days and it's over! Woohoo weekend!
3. Product(s) I'm adding to my wish list: The Lorac Pro Palette. It has a mix of shimmer and matte shadows in a variety of shades. I think I would be able to create a lot of different looks with this palette making it worth the $42. But do I really need more eyeshadows?! Lol
5. Scent of the week: I mixed it up this week and used a different perfume from my collection each day. Sometimes I stick with one scent for the whole week and other times I'm all over the place. I guess it depends on my mood.
6. Favorite song of the moment: An oldie but a goodie...Public Service Announcement by Jay-Z. The XM radio in my car stopped working on Thursday and I reorganized my iPod for my commute on Friday with a mix (new and old) of hip hop/rap etc. 
7. A sprinkle of randomness: Lipton's double noodle soup is the best cure for a hangover. Lots of water too!

The Very Late Saturday Seven 9/4/12

I apologize for posting this so late! I totally lost track of time with the three day weekend and all of the happenings going on. The next Saturday Seven will be on time, promise!

1. Mood: Annoyed...with myself. Lol! I got a little lazy and took a break from my exercise routine for a week. I just got back on track and I am so mad at myself for taking that little break...stupid me! Well I guess I can't go back in time (even though that would be pretty cool) and I can only go forward. So I'm sticking with it from now on!
2. One good thing from the week: I saw Jason Mraz in concert on Saturday. It was such a great show!
3. Product(s) I'm adding to my wish list: Some new fall clothing and accessories. I am sad to see the summer go because that means colder weather and my tattoos will be making less of an appearance. :( I am always on the lookout for season appropriate clothing that will showcase my tattoos as well. I also am looking for some new funky rings!
4. Most used product of the week: Milani Multi-tasker Face Powder in Medium
5. Scent of the week: The One by Dolce & Gabbana
6. Favorite song of the moment: Living in the Moment by Jason Mraz..There is no official video for the song yet. So I found a live version which seems like it was filmed in a smaller venue. In my opinion, smaller venues are definitely the place to see Jason. He plays incredible shows in more intimate settings. Anyway, take a listen and live in the moment!!! :)

7. A sprinkle of randomness: The weather here has been crazy! It rains and storms then clears up and becomes super humid. My hair and makeup can't take it anymore! Lol. I'm looking forward to fall weather.
