I purchased two of the three palettes in No Neutral Ground (34210) and A Great Glistener (34208). The third palette was heavy on the blues which I knew I would never wear. The palettes are different from their cult favorite eight pan palettes. The top row has three "shimmer overcoats" that they suggest for the browbone, the middle row has three pearl shadows for the lid and the bottom has two matte shades for defining.

The "shimmer overcoats" are more like a chunky, glittery mess. I doubt I would use this for a browbone highlight but maybe in the center of the lid for a fun going out look. Both the pearl and matte shadows are reminiscent of the eight pan palette shadows. The are richly pigmented and easy to blend.

The In The Spotlight Eyeshadow Medley Palettes retail for around $4.49 each. If you're on a budget and are looking for the most beauty for your buck then I would recommend picking up one these palettes. You get a variety of good quality shadows that will create several different looks from neutral daytime to evening glam.
